This is Coach Ewing’s eighth year as a Pearce Mustang. He previously coached in Nacogdoches for 7 years. He is a proud graduate of Berkner High School and Stephen F. Austin University where he earned degrees in Composite Social Studies and Kinesiology.

Coach Ewing has sent swimmers to the state meet in Austin every year he has coached. He has also had multiple swimmers win medals at state, and has won district every year he has coached. Coach Ewing is the current District 8-6A Coach of the Year. As a teacher, Coach Ewing was named 2014 History Teacher of the Year for the State of Texas.

Coach Ewing enjoys trying new foods and restaurants, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Coach Broad teaches US History and is in her second year as a Pearce Mustang. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a BBA in Finance.

Coach Broad enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and visiting her children (Charles, Sally, Bennett, Lance) who are all Pearce graduates.
