The Mustang Swim Team tested its speed against four highly competitive teams at the Rockwall Invitational held on Saturday, October 19. Although the competition was fierce, JJP had excellent showings in the following events:

Individual Events

• 200 Freestyle
  3rd place Girls (junior Sarah McNair)
  3rd place Boys (junior Blake Maczka)
• 50 Freestyle
  2nd place Boys (senior Scott Lin)
• 100 Butterfly
  2nd place Girls (sophomore Annette Mendex)
• 500 Freestyle
  3rd place Girls (junior Sarah McNair)
  2nd place Boys (junior Blake Maczka)

Relays

• 200 Freestyle Relay
  3rd place Girls (junior Sarah McNair, sophomores Annette Mendez and Jordan Otto, and freshman Katie Hamilton)
  3rd place Boys (seniors Scott Lin and Yunpeng Zhang, junior Blake Maczka, and freshman Hayden Steed)

The next meet for the Mustangs will be held on Wednesday, November 6 in a head-to-head with Plano East.
