Pearce Mustangs fight hard but drop dual meet to Highland Park

It came down to the final relay but Highland Park prevailed winning the dual meet by the score of 87 - 83. The girls fought hard also but came up short losing 102 - 68.

We had numerous strong swims on both the girls and boys sides. Madeline Marcos looked particularly strong taking both the 200 & 500 Freestyle. Sarah McNair swam a great race in the 500 free finishing in 2nd place. Annette Mendez took two 2nd place finishes in the 200 IM & 100 Fly. With Jordan Otto's 50 Free, Elise Riggle's 100 Back and Erica Casales' 100 Breast, the girls took three more second place finishes.

The boys were led by team captain Hayden Wallace who took first in the 50 Free followed by Erin Heminokeky in 2nd place. Hayden also finished 2nd in the 100 Free. Scott Lin took home first place in the 100 Fly and Aaron Waters finished second in the 100 Back. Also, Blake Maczka remains undefeated in his individual events taking first place in both the 200 & 500 Free.
